Prayers For Karen

I know there is power in prayer and so I'm asking for help from all of my blogging friends.

Dev's mom, Karen, is in the ICU at the hospital right now.

It started with stomach pains, and an ambulance rush to the hospital on Saturday.

It's all a bit surreal.

The short story is her bowels burst and there is infection and other things.

They have her in an induced coma.

She has had two surgeries, and this last went well, but she's still fighting.

They are hoping that she will be able to breathe on her own soon, so that is great news!

Things are looking positive (used delicately),

 but scary as they say her vitals still go up and down and she has a very long road ahead of her. 

We miss her so much already!! 

Thank you SO SO VERY much for any prayers in her behalf!!

I know God hears our prayers!

You have to know that everyone loves Karen! Because she is just that kind of person.

As soon as I met Dev she welcomed me right in as her own daughter. She is my mother and my friend.

She is our angel, but we aren't ready for her to be that kind of angel!!!!!!
